Instructions:
Prepare the Shrimp: Begin by thawing the shrimp in room-temperature water if they are frozen. Once thawed, drain them thoroughly and set them aside.
Create the Sauce: In a large bowl, combine the lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, Jugo Maggi, Hot Jugo Maggi, Salsa Botanera or Valentina, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir well to ensure all the seasonings are evenly distributed.
Mix in Ketchup: Add the ketchup to the bowl and mix until you have a consistent sauce.
Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked shrimp to the sauce and toss until the shrimp are well coated.
Add Vegetables: Stir in the diced onion, chopped jalapeños, small diced Roma tomatoes, and chopped cilantro. Mix well to combine all the flavors.
Chill: Place the mixture in the refrigerator and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld and the dish to chill thoroughly.
Serve: Just before serving, gently fold in the diced avocado. Serve the shrimp cocktail with saltine crackers or your choice of crispy side.
