Craving the classic taste of s'mores with a unique twist? Try these delightful Puff Pastry S'mores – a fusion of flaky pastry, gooey marshmallows, and rich chocolate that brings campfire memories to your kitchen.

Ingredients

🥐 2 sheets of puff pastry
🍫 Graham crackers (broken into small pieces)
🍬 Marshmallows (square-shaped preferred)
🥚 1 egg
💧 1 tablespoon water
🍬 Sugar (for sprinkling)


Instructions

1- Preheat & Prepare:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2- Shape the Pastry:

  • Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface. If needed, trim into squares or rectangles.

3- Add the Fillings:

  • On half of each pastry square, layer some graham cracker pieces and top with a few marshmallows.

4- Prepare Egg Wash:

  • In a small bowl, beat the egg with 1 tablespoon of water until combined. This is your egg wash.

5- Seal the Pastry:

  • Fold the pastry over the fillings to form a seal, pressing the edges with a fork to ensure it's closed. Egg wash will help glue the seams.

6- Apply Egg Wash:

  • Lightly brush the top of the sealed pastries with the egg wash using a pastry brush.

7- Sprinkle Sugar:

  • Sprinkle a little sugar over each pastry for a sweet crust.

8- Bake:

  • Place the pastries on the prepared baking sheet and bake for approximately 25 minutes, or until golden brown.

9- Serve:

  • Allow the pastries to cool slightly to avoid burning your mouth. Enjoy them warm for the best ooey-gooey center.
