Bagel Bites

Ingredients:
🥖 1 tube of Pillsbury French Bread
🧀 1 cream cheese bar (8 oz)
🥄 Desired toppings (everything bagel, sesame seeds, onion flakes, poppy seeds, seasoned salts, garlic flakes, jalapeño cheddar, chili flakes, or plain)
🥄 1 tablespoon baking soda
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (or your oven to the same temperature if using it instead).
- Using a knife, divide the French bread dough into 8 equal parts.
- Flatten each piece with your fingers, ensuring the edges are slightly dampened with water.
- Place 1/8 of the cream cheese on each flattened dough piece.
- Seal each dough piece by wrapping it tightly around the cream cheese, ensuring the edges are secured. Shape into a rounded form.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the baking soda. This step is crucial for achieving a golden brown exterior.
- Carefully place each stuffed dough piece into the boiling water and cook until they float.
- Once floating, remove the pieces with a slotted spoon, allowing them to strain briefly.
- Place the boiled bagel bites on parchment paper and quickly add your choice of toppings while they are still moist.
- Air fry the bagel bites at 380°F for 15 minutes or bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
