- 🍝 1 pack (500g) lasagna noodles
- 🧀 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 🚰 1 cup hot water with 1 tbsp chicken bouillon (or chicken stock)
Instructions
- Prepare the Sauce:
- In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil over medium heat.
- Add the poblano and jalapeño peppers, shallot, and garlic cloves. Sauté until the shallot becomes translucent and the peppers soften.
- Transfer the sautéed ingredients to a blender. Add butter, cilantro, and heavy cream. Blend until the mixture is smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Assemble the Lasagna:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large oven dish, start with a layer of lasagna noodles.
- Add a thin layer of the prepared sauce, followed by shredded chicken.
- Layer with more lasagna noodles, ricotta cheese, and then repeat the layers (sauce, chicken, noodles, ricotta) until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of noodles.
- Add the Final Touch:
- Mix 1 cup of hot water with 1 tablespoon of chicken bouillon until dissolved. Pour this mixture gently over the layered lasagna. This helps to keep the noodles moist while baking.
