Ingredients:
🥖 1 loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
🧀 8 oz Oaxaca cheese, shredded
🌶️ 1/2 cup sweet and spicy pickled jalapeños or Serrano peppers
🍅 2 cups salsa (homemade or store-bought)
🍖 8 oz Mexican-style chorizo, crumbled
🥫 1 14 oz can refried beans
🌿 Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400ºF (205ºC).
Take the halved French bread and scoop out a bit from the center to create a shallow trough on each half. Place them cut-side up on a baking sheet.
Spoon and spread the salsa liberally onto both halves of the bread.
