This Spicy Buffalo Roasted Chicken combines classic succulent flavors with a modern spicy twist. It's roasted to perfection in the air fryer and is not only easy to prepare but also incredibly delicious. If you love a good buffalo kick, this recipe is sure to be a hit at your dinner table.

Ingredients:

  • 🐔 1 whole chicken
  • 🧂 Salt to taste
  • 🧄 3 garlic cloves
  • 🧅 1 shallot
  • 🌶️ Frank's Red Hot Original sauce to taste
  • 🔥 Frank's Red Hot Buffalo seasoning to taste
  • 🧈 4 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions:

  1. Preparation:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
    • Clean the whole chicken thoroughly, removing any giblets.
    • Mince the garlic cloves and finely chop the shallot.
  2. Seasoning the Chicken:
    • Rub salt over the chicken, both inside and out, to taste.
    • Insert the minced garlic and chopped shallot inside the chicken cavity.
    • Drizzle some Frank's Red Hot Original sauce over the chicken, ensuring even coverage both inside and out.
    • Sprinkle generously with Frank's Red Hot Buffalo seasoning over the surface of the chicken.
  3. Roasting in the Air Fryer:
    • Place the seasoned chicken in the air fryer basket.
    • Roast at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes.
    • After 20 minutes, carefully flip the chicken over and return it to the air fryer for another 20 minutes.
  4. Buffalo Glaze:
    • While the chicken is roasting, mix 4 tablespoons of melted butter with additional Frank's Red Hot Original sauce and Buffalo seasoning in a bowl.
  5. Finalizing the Chicken:
    • Remove the chicken from the air fryer and place it in another pan.
    • Brush or pour some of the buffalo glaze over the chicken.
    • Return the chicken to the air fryer for an additional 5 minutes.
    • Optionally, brush more sauce over the chicken and cook for another 5 minutes for an extra layer of flavor.
  6. Serving:
    • Transfer the chicken to a serving platter.
    • Serve with your favorite sides, such as ranch rice or a crisp salad.
